Muğla Müzesi’nden Yeni Bir Onurlandırma Yazıtı

Öz
Makalede, 2019 yılında Muğla’nın Menteşe ilçesi sınırları içinde kalan Müslihittin Mahallesindeki bir parkta terk edilmiş olarak tespit edilen ve Muğla Müzesine getirilen yazıtlı bir kaide sunulmaktadır. Kaidenin orijinal konumu bilinmemekle birlikte Mobolla ve Pisye yerleşimlerini içine alan bölgeye ait olması kuvvetle muhtemeldir. Silindirik kaidenin alt kenarında torus ve kyma rektadan, üst kenarında ise ovolo ve bant silmeden oluşan bir profillendirme bulunmaktadır. Kaidenin üst düzleminde bir heykelin bulunduğuna dair herhangi bir iz tespit edilememektedir, kaidenin tabanının alt merkezinde ise dairesel bir dübel yuvası bulunmaktadır. Stilistik özellikleri ve benzer örnekleri ışığında Rhodos etkisini yansıtan silindirik kaide üzerinde, sekiz satırlık Yunanca bir onurlandırma yazıtı vardır. Harf karakterleri ve içeriği uyarınca MÖ 2. yüzyılın ilk yarısı (MÖ 188 sonrası) veya ortalarına tarihlenen yazıta göre eranistai derneği içinde, olasılıkla lider bir konuma sahip olan Euandros oğlu Rhodoslu Iason, erdemi ve derneğe yönelik hayırseverliği nedeniyle dernek tarafından onurlandırılmış, altın bir çelenk ile ödüllendirilmiştir. Yazıtı taşıyan kaidenin eranistai birliği tarafından Zeus’a adanmış olması, Mobolla – Pisye’de eranistai derneği ile Zeus inancı arasındaki olası bir bağlantıya işaret etmektedir. Eranistai dernekleri Atina’da ve Rhodos’ta, ayrıca Karia yerleşimleri olan Thyssanous, Loryma ve Hyllarima’da belgelenmiştir. Rhodos menşeili eranistai derneğinin Mobolla – Pisye bölgesinde belgelenmesi de MÖ 188 yılı sonrasında İç Karia’ya kadar uzanan Rhodos etkisinin bir sonucu olarak ele alınmalıdır.
