Arkhaia Anatolika The Journal of Anatolian Archaeological Studies

Arkhaia Anatolika aspires to publish academic work that will enlighten the historical and cultural background of Anatolia which opened the path for the development of civilizations. The Journal includes articles regarding research, study, documentation, and preservation of the Anatolian cultures as well as interpretation of interrelations between them. Arkhaia Anatolika covers chronologically the prehistoric periods, the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, the Archaic Period, the Classical Period, the Hellenistic Period, the Roman Period, the Late Antiquity, the Byzantine Period and the Middle Ages. In this context, the journal covers articles containing the results of original research in the fields of Prehistory, Protohistory and Near Eastern Archaeology, Classical Archaeology, Underwater Archeology, Numismatics, Ancient History, Ancient Philology and Epigraphy, Late Antique, Byzantine and Medieval History and Art, Archaeometry, Zooarchaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History, Conservation and Restoration, Cultural Heritage and other relevant disciplines.

Arkhaia Anatolika, The Journal of Anatolian Archeological Studies is being indexed by Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). In addition, the journal is included in the Index Copernicus International (ICI) and Open Academic Journals Index (OAJI) databases.
